An elegant set of six sterling silver coffee spoons from the Art Deco period, beautifully presented in their fitted case with a striking blush-pink silk lining.
Crafted by the prestigious Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, these charming spoons feature a distinctively flared, angular terminal and intricate, stepped edge detailing along the stem. The geometric influences and clean lines are classic hallmarks of the 1930s Art Deco movement, making this set a stylish addition to any tableware collection or an excellent gift for a lover of early 20th-century design.
Hallmarked for London, 1937, these spoons represent the enduring quality and sophisticated aesthetic of British silverware crafted just before the Second World War. The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, formerly based on Regent Street in London, was renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and even held Royal Warrants, adding a wonderful layer of provenance to this set.
Condition: Please note these spoons have superficial surface wear and natural patination expected from nearly 90 years of history. The original presentation box shows some age-related wear, adding to its vintage charm.
