This 2000s Deja Vu diamond necklace was manufactured by Chimento from their X-Tend collection, one of Italy's most celebrated fine jewellery houses, founded in 1964 by Adriano Chimento in the renowned goldsmithing district of Vicenza and known internationally for its highly styled 18ct gold and gem-set jewels. Since its founding, the family-owned brand has grown into a global ambassador of Italian goldsmithing mastery, celebrated for combining meticulous craftsmanship with innovative construction techniques.
Crafted in 18ct white gold, the reversible necklace is built from modular gate-link, or segmented, sections, a style traditionally favoured in fine gold jewellery for the way it keeps the piece lightweight and fluid on the neck while still allowing dense diamond-setting along each link. Set within these links are 187 round brilliant cut diamonds in G-H colour and VS clarity, a combination that delivers strong brightness with only minor, eye-clean inclusions, consistent with the precise stone-matching for which Chimento is known.
At 42cm, this necklace's fluid, segmented structure allows it to drape naturally at the collarbone while the dense diamond pavé catches light continuously along its length. The piece features a secure locking clasp with a single accent diamond, adding a sparkle of flair.
