Walker & Hall Waiheke Art Award 2024

This is an annual National Award for two dimensional works in any medium and has a prize of $10,000 as the Premium Award.
Key Dates
Friday 21 June Entries open.
Friday 6 September Closing date for entries.
Friday 20 September Artists advised of selection results.
Friday 11 October Selected works received at the Gallery.
Friday 18 October Exhibition opens at 6pm.
Saturday 19 October Awards Ceremony at Waiheke Community Art Gallery.
Sunday 8 December Exhibition closes.

Premier Award: Mike Crawshaw - Last Rites, oil on canvas
Zinni Douglas Merit Award: Daisy Saaiman - Ma & Pa, acrylic on board
Michael Evans Award for a figurative work: Ashlee O'Hagan - The Good Gift, oil on canvas
Gordon Harris Award: Matthew Carter - Rain at Britomart, oil on board
