Sara Langdon
Sara Langdon is a contemporary New Zealand artist based in Beachlands, Auckland. Her work explores themes of home, beauty and belonging, capturing the unique character of New Zealand’s landscapes and the meaningful places that shape our stories.
With a background in photography, art and art history, Sara brings a fresh perspective to landscape realism. Her intricately detailed paintings celebrate the beauty of familiar landmarks, from Auckland’s iconic maunga to the subtle colours and textures of the natural environment.
Since beginning her Auckland landscape series in 2015, Sara has created nearly 300 works inspired by the places she calls home. Represented by Parnell Gallery since 2013, her work is held in private collections throughout New Zealand and internationally.
